Escaping outside to the garden has been one of my favorite things for a long time now. After spending years slowly building my garden in North Texas, my career (which, while less fun than gardening, does pay the bills) uprooted me and plunked me down in Northern Alabama in a place with a blank slate for a yard. So, I’m starting over from scratch. If I want to keep escaping to the garden, I’ll have to build it first.
